Please be advised that cleaning procedures are currently in progress for the newly installed water pipelines. It is crucial to understand that this ongoing cleaning process exclusively pertains to the newly laid pipelines and does not, in any way, impact the functionality or safety of the pre-existing water infrastructure.

To reiterate and emphasize a key point, these new pipelines are not yet connected to any residential properties or public access points. The prior public advisory issued was a precautionary measure intended to prevent potential health risks in the unlikely event of a damaged new pipe being discovered. The warning specifically cautioned against attempting to consume any water from such a compromised new pipeline.

This advisory was solely directed towards the new, unconnected infrastructure. It does not concern the existing network of pipes that are currently supplying water to households and businesses. The running water provided through the established system remains safe for consumption and use as normal. We kindly request the public to take note of this distinction to avoid any confusion or unnecessary concern.
